Mark Wahlberg, other celebrities coming to Fort Cavazos for ‘Rock for the Brave’ event

FORT CAVAZOS, Texas (KWTX) – Mark Wahlberg, among other celebrities, will be at Fort Cavazos for the Military Family Fest Rock for the Brave event on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The event is free and open to all Department of Defense (DoD) ID card holders.

According to the Fort Cavazos MWR website, other celebrities expected to be at the event include former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski, country music singer Cole Swindell, TV personality Chip Gaines, pastry chef and TV personality Duff Goldman, comedian Adam Yenser and magician Kid Ace.

A pre-festival meet and greet with Gronkowski is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at the Community Events and Bingo Center at Clear Creek Road building 50012 in Fort Cavazos.

The festival is set to begin a 2 p.m. at the Phantom Warrior Stadium building 50029 with Yenser is set to take the main stage at 6 p.m. and the Swindell concert is set to begin at 7 p.m.
