It’s over for Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev.
The former WWE Diva, 40, filed for divorce from the “Dancing With the Stars” pro, 42, on Wednesday, according to online records obtained by The Post.
The filing comes weeks after he was arrested on a domestic violence charge in Napa, Calif.
Chigvintsev and Bella married in a lavish 2022 ceremony in Paris. They celebrated their second wedding ceremony just three days before the professional dancer was arrested on August 29.
Chigvintsev and Bella share one child: four-year-old son Matteo.
The Post confirmed Chigvintsev was arrested by the Napa County Sheriff’s Department just before 10 a.m. on a felony domestic violence charge falling under a California penal code that “makes it illegal to injure a spouse, cohabitant or fellow parent in an act of domestic violence.” Visible injuries must be present for the suspected crime to be a felony.
His bail was set at $25,000. He was released later that day.
Chigvintsev’s alleged victim asked for confidentiality following his arrest and was cooperating with police amid the investigation, reported TMZ.
While the second party wasn’t named, Chigvintsev made a 911 call earlier in the day, asking for medical assistance for the alleged victim while claiming his wife threw a shoe at him. He called back minutes later and said their assistance was no longer needed; however, cops still showed up to the house.
While Chigvintsev’s fellow “DWTS” pro Cheryl Burke said she was in “complete shock” over his arrest, sources close to the couple claimed their relationship had been “volatile” for a long time.
Insiders told TMZ that the pair had an alleged history of verbal altercations but claimed they were unaware of anything physical. They described Chigvintsev’s arrest as “shocking but not shocking” and claimed he did not return to their marital home after being released from jail.
Bella broke her silence about her husband’s arrest on Friday, August 30, with her rep telling The Post, “This is a private matter, and Nikki asks for privacy for her and her family at this time.”
She made her first public appearance on Monday, September 2, while co-hosting a live hot dog eating contest in Las Vegas, which streamed on Netflix. While Bella seemed in good spirits, she was missing one notable accessory: her wedding ring.
As for Chigvintsev, he will not be on Season 33 of “DWTS,” the program he’s starred in since 2018 minus two seasons, following his arrest; however, it appears ABC executives made the decision before the alleged incident.
Chigvintsev and Bella met in 2017 when she competed on “DWTS.” At the time, she was engaged to WWE star-turned-actor John Cena.
The Bella twin and wrestler called off their engagement in 2018, and she confirmed her romance with Chigvintsev the following year.
Bella gushed over her husband on the anniversary before his arrest, claiming their love story was “meant to be.”
Chigvintsev returned the favor, captioning several wedding photos, “Happy anniversary my love, can’t see my life with out you. You are my everything.”
