It’s your last chance to save 75% on Disney+ —Here’s what’s coming to the service soon

A limited time Disney+ offer that will save you 75% on three months of streaming is nearly over, and you may not find a subscription price this good again for another year.

From now through 11:59 p.m. PT tomorrow, September 27 (which is 2:59 a.m. on September 28 for East Coasters), new and eligible returning Disney+ subscribers will get three months of Disney+ Basic (with ads) for just $1.99/month.

The deal comes with perfect timing, too; you’ll be able to lock in a low, low, price before the streamer increases prices again next month and the cost of Disney+ Basic goes up from $7.99/month to $9.99/month.

At $1.99/month, you’ll save $18 over three months — which comes to about 75% off.

How to get Disney+ for less:

On the Disney+ homepage, you’ll be given a bunch of different subscription plans including bundles with other services. When you go to choose your plan, you’ll have to select Disney+ Basic, as it’s the only one that’s part of the special offer. It’s the plan that prompts you to Sign Up and Save.

From there, make an account or log into your existing account — returning subscribers are eligible as long as they don’t have an active subscription — and enter your payment details.

You’ll be charged $1.99 every month for the first three months of your subscription; on the fourth month, it will revert to the then-current monthly price of $9.99/month.

What to watch on Disney+:

Put simply, Disney+ collects all things Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and National Geographic into one platform. There really is something for every member of the family on Disney+.

Fan of reality TV? New episodes of “Dancing with the Stars” air on Disney+ weekly at the same time they’re live on ABC.

As of this week, the highest-grossing movie of 2024 so far, “Inside Out 2,” is streaming on the platform, along with the entire Pixar library.

The service is home to original Marvel and Star Wars shows, like the currently-airing “Agatha All Along” and the origin of Baby Yoda, “The Mandalorian.”

You can also watch original music docs like Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles” and as of earlier this year, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” is streaming exclusively on Disney+.

Coming soon to Disney+:

There are also exciting things in the pipeline for Disney+ as we head into the last few months of 2024.

“Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band” hits Disney+ on October 25, while “Music By John Williams,” a new feature-length doc about the legendary composer will premiere on November 1.

Marvel won’t have any premieres until early 2025, but new episodes of “Agatha All Along” will continue to air every Wednesday through October 30, and it’s likely “Deadpool and Wolverine” will debut on the platform before the end of the year.

There’s also one last Star Wars project coming before the end of the year; “Skeleton Crew,” premiering December 3, follows four kids lost in the galaxy, crossing paths with characters like the mysterious force-user played by Jude Law.

Two new Pixar projects will premiere before the end of the year, too. The first, “Dream Productions,” is a new mockumentary-style series set in the world of “Inside Out.” The studio’s first original series, “Win or Lose,” is set to premiere on December 6; it follows eight members of a softball team and their intertwined stories as they prepare for a big championship game.
